In the What Car? Green Car Awards, the MINI Cooper D has ran away with the Fun Green Car award. It has a number of features that can make it a top quality eco-friendly, economic car, including the London Congestion Charge exemption courtesy of MINIMALISM technology. The MINI 1.6D Cooper won the award because it doesn’t compromise the driving experience for going green.  Unfortunately, it’s not sold in America (seems like a running theme here at the Mini Cooper insurance blog).
