MINI Monte-Carlo: Not Available in US :(

The Mini Monte Carlo will take part in the World Rally championship, and a roadgoing version will be available.  The car is based on the Mini Coopers of the 1960’s. The car is equipped with a 184 horse power four cylinder engine. It has a standard six-speed manual transmission. This car can also be ordered with a 200 horsepower engine. Alas, these are only available only in Europe. Well, at least many of us can rest assured it would have been out of our reach anyway:  it carries a base price of $49,600.  Can you imagine how much Mini Cooper insurance would be with such an MSRP??
